For the Sagz fans

I know it's ALL of you

Cool feature piece @ Inner Ring://

It wasn’t long ago, days even, that Peter Sagan was being hailed as serial loser, at least from the peanut gallery. All those second places earned him number one in the World Rankings but he, as Antoine Blondin wrote about Merckx, belongs to the cast of champions “who loses when he doesn’t win”. For example Tiesj Benoot makes the podium in the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad and that’s great for him but Peter Sagan “only” finishes second, he lost to Greg Van Avermaet. A similar story in the E3 Harelbeke, the two-up sprint with Michał Kwiatkowski was as much about Sagan’s defeat as it was the Pole’s triumph.

I'm going for Kristoff with Sagan a close second.

Dark horse - Greipel

Etixxx will make a complete pudding of this again (as usual)

Sorry Spartacus fans.

Sorry Spartacus fans.

I am not a Cancellera fan so I wouldnt be rooting for him anyway, I think Etixx have a very strong field with Boonen, Martins and Stybar so my head says Tom or Zdenek, I would like to see Sagan win but there are so many quality riders, Lars Boom, Ian Stannard, Kristoff, Stjin Devolder, Sylvain Chavanel, even possibly Tyler Farrar, very hard to pick a winner.

Going to be very interesting. Without a clear leader I don't see a positive outcome for Etixxx. My thinking is that nobody will be able to get away on his own and there will be a small selection with the sprinter that manages to hang on winning the sprint. Sagan and Cancellara will be marked men.

Sags's team strength - gonna be quite a factor on he flatlands

Trek, Katusha and Ettix definitely in the advantage here

Was hoping for wet weather as it will benefit the superior bike handlers...
