tombeej Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Weather forecast? Can we expect shiny pavè ???? Wow, it's improved significantly.
'Dale Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 For the Sagz fansI know it's ALL of you Cool feature piece @ Inner Ring:// It wasn’t long ago, days even, that Peter Sagan was being hailed as serial loser, at least from the peanut gallery. All those second places earned him number one in the World Rankings but he, as Antoine Blondin wrote about Merckx, belongs to the cast of champions “who loses when he doesn’t win”. For example Tiesj Benoot makes the podium in the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad and that’s great for him but Peter Sagan “only” finishes second, he lost to Greg Van Avermaet. A similar story in the E3 Harelbeke, the two-up sprint with Michał Kwiatkowski was as much about Sagan’s defeat as it was the Pole’s triumph. Zatopek Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Shake, rattle and roll over the cobbles https://twitter.com/TrekSegafredo/status/718074195402473472 Sent from my SM-G920F using TapatalkI know someone that, during a visit in the area, tested himself on the Arenberg Strava segment - he was so focussed and riding head down to keep control of the bike, that he destroyed (removed) the wooden boom at the exit. (It is not always so 'open' as what it might look like on TV)
jcza Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 I'm going for Kristoff with Sagan a close second. Dark horse - GreipelEtixxx will make a complete pudding of this again (as usual) Sorry Spartacus fans.
GrumpyOldGuy Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 I'm going for Kristoff with Sagan a close second. Dark horse - GreipelEtixxx will make a complete pudding of this again (as usual) Sorry Spartacus fans. I am not a Cancellera fan so I wouldnt be rooting for him anyway, I think Etixx have a very strong field with Boonen, Martins and Stybar so my head says Tom or Zdenek, I would like to see Sagan win but there are so many quality riders, Lars Boom, Ian Stannard, Kristoff, Stjin Devolder, Sylvain Chavanel, even possibly Tyler Farrar, very hard to pick a winner.

Going to be very interesting. Without a clear leader I don't see a positive outcome for Etixxx. My thinking is that nobody will be able to get away on his own and there will be a small selection with the sprinter that manages to hang on winning the sprint. Sagan and Cancellara will be marked men.
kosmonooit Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 At least Spartacus wont be the only marked man ...
'Dale Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Wow, it's improved significantly.Well, that's a disappointment ????
'Dale Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Sags's team strength - gonna be quite a factor on he flatlands Trek, Katusha and Ettix definitely in the advantage here
