Could be a 7 or even 6t gap with a bit of creative spacing... But then you may run into problems with percentage gaps and such.

How much you wanna bet they're sitting on 1X14 at this very moment laughing as their 1X12 system goes on sale. I think I'll just sit here behind the cutting edge thanks.

Winning.

droenn Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 I don't really care how often they change the tech - I'll just buy whatever is affordable at the time I need a new drivetrain. At the moment 1x10 is fine for me, I haven't even bothered extending the cassette, still at 36t. Next bike will probably come with 1x11 because they are pretty standard now, and sure that will also work fine.
