Seems like everybody I know is starting in VA or VB, even those who havent raced in more than a year nor have racing license, they didnt even enter the racing cats....

 

If VA is going to become the new AL, then whats the point?

What's the general state of the roads? Clean, smooth or lots of debris around that's going to increase the chances of a puncture?

is there a delay with some numbers, one of my mates didnt get seeding and she did post the correct details ..sent me confirmation !

 

had a huge crash sunday... story of my life(lol) , rider went down under me... roasties for days and an out of commission bike ...sigh . Insurance might respond in time but no stock of replacement parts.

So scraping parts together to assemble a mixed up everything backup  .. but i will be there brace on the arm and all.. superglue the helmet together again...  odd wheelset , granny saddle and ready to go 

 

I was so looking fwd to this race and moving up from my permanent C status... , looks like its gonna be a training ride for me so i will stay out of the racing snakes lines of fire

Fiance is supposed to be in VA but seeding email today says he is in KL? That is just plain ridonkulous I will have to get him reseeded when I  go my late entry. ASG you overpriced morons.

VC for me. Second race now so perhaps my seeding has improved. Haven't exactly covered myself in glory of late so hoping to do a bit better this time. Better at the moment means getting shelled a bit further into the race.

I have to say ASG have been great on this one. Have never done one of their events and had no seeding. Received e mail to say I can add non ASG race times to gain seeding. Did it, seeded correctly. They have been very helpful through entry problems , and I'm starting to believe. Just hope the race goes well.

Touch wood, very good EXCEPT for the first/last 5Km. Potholes will be filled the days prior to the race, so hopefully the trucks in the industrial areas don't destroy it.

You should mail ASG and ask them to check. I think they stuffed up some of the seeding again like they did in the last couple of events. Probably used the MTB seeding again instead of road. They fixed mine last time for Berge & Dale.

There were some serious potholes from the ERPM golf club to the finish.  Hope they were filled.  Also some big ones on Rondebult I believe?
