It's a lekker set of trails, those, and a great day out. Even if just on a hardtail or XC bike. As long as you have fun! BTW - first "race" I would have been in in a little under 2 years. In that time, I've gained 10kg, lost a lot of pace but mostly just am entering for the feck of it. Couldn't care about my place. I've done a handful of xc events and although those were fun and all I always knew that I much prefer the downhill stuff to the "sitting on the saddle spinning for 3 hours" stuff. Bring it!
