Wow Peach,

Beautifull bike and talented....well done.

If I had a bike like that I would leave it in the garage and just fondle it.

HeHe enjoy

Evobikes organized for me but I believe that Rush might bring them in.

Ok cool, yeah I hope Andre brings them in. I know he's not bringing the Maxxis in.

25% the recommended sag, what is yours on?

Running 30% at low setting and it was nice ... little saggy with out of saddle sprints when fully open, but not to the point it felt bad.

Running 30% at middle setting and it feels poppy under pedaling .... don't drop her into pedal setting at all when doing table mountain climbs, so decent. It does feel a little firm though, to the point where I recon more sag could be an option. Will check this week if running a little less rebound will help return the bike into the sag position quicker to smooth things over a little more ... that is if the rebound is the problem ... but fiddling and experimenting is the only way to find out.

Will be interesting running in the low setting and a little firmer 25% sag to see how she pedals then.

At 30% though, the still ramps up nicely so doing drops top flat, etc (No monster drops...) is handled well, in a nice and controlled and no fuss manner.

What has struck me most about this frame and fork combo, is the no fuss manner in which it handles rougher terrain and just feels right.

Still struggling a bit with confidence since I have been off the trail for about two months now (not counting one or two small outings on the old HT) and on the first ride out the Spitty and I parted in what I would like to think of as a rather spectacular fashion with the front washing out on a fast and wide right berm and me hitting the deck hard. I think it was the front tyre that rolled on the rim, and I am still figuring out the Hans/D on the front...just not trusting the feel of it.

What was sicking though, was hitting the deck, hearing your helmet crunch and break, and then watching the bike cartwheeling down the trail..... never nice seeing your bike cartwheeling down the trail!!!!!

Hairy, when is birthday - I am going to buy you a surf board leash!

With regards to the front wheel and the Spitfire, both models I have ridden (and the Phantom as well actually) I have found the bikes respond well to running a chunky aggressive tyre up front, then loading the front end of the bike in the corners, a similar way to the way one rides a MX bike.

Takes a little bit of getting used to doing, but works a treat
