8500km on my front Hornet, I am sure it will surpass 10,000km which is my previous record on Maxxis Crossmarks. Rear Zippering seems to hold well upto 5000km and beyond.

Most durable and reliable tyres I have had.

Need new rear tire for my mtb. Was thinking of Maxxis crossmark but will now consider these after reading this thread. I work at a tire shop and must say that there are some imported tires I would fit above some big name brands, I suppose it is the same with bike tyres.

I got a hornet to replace Sidewall damaged Rapid Rob Front.

I bought seated onto rim with Track Pump first try nothing special. Also no tools needed to get onto rim (Arch EX).

Rim Proved to be meh replaced with Sun Ringle Inferno 27

Same story Seated First time sealed perfect. Day later No beading no leaks perfect for race day.

Held up perfect During Stellenbosch MTB, come sand, mud or dusty dry trail.

Super Impressed good value for money

Both front Hornet (9700km) and rear Zippering (5300km) did their bit on the Stellenbosch MTB 75km today. Grip is minimal - I really can't cover that up. But in terms of endurance tyres I doubt anything comes close to these. I'll give that Hornet till 10,000km before I retire it.

I replaced my rear SPEZ tyre a few weeks back with the Zippering when I tore the tyre wall and noticed afterwards that this is a "Tubeless Ready" tyre as opposed to a "Full Tubeless" Tyre (which my Spez was) - any thoughts / comments on the difference between these two specifications ? I've read that the TR can leak and are more prone to 'burping' out on a ride...

I also find that the tyre wall looks very different to that of the Spez tyre in that the Spez you can see the 'reinforcing' lines through the rubber but with this its solid rubber looking... (if this makes sense ?)

I also find that I get slightly more 'movement' from the rear in a twisty bit then I did with the Spez unit - both running at same pressures - I've even stopped a few times to check that I haven't lost pressure as this is how it feels (under strain in fast cornering)...
