Just been for a bike course recce in this wind, felt like was going backwards at some points and always fun with deep sections and a disc  .... but the hard work into the wind is worth it when you fly with the tailwind!!   Forecast is for the wind to be dropping over the weekend..... holding thumbs that happens!!

Perfect weather for the ladies race, looking good for us men tomorrow although a little overcast.

 

As for me, just been for my first run in 10 days since injuring my soleus calf muscle, glad to report all ok apart from tight achilles....so feeling amped for tomorrow whilst watching women's race on tv.  

 

Will wander down to Marine Drive shortly to watch them on the run.... going to be a sprint between Ryf and Charles
