I will definitely be commuting. I ride home from work everyday, wish I could ride to work as well but no shower facilities and we have a unisex bathroom at work so no chance of the basin bath either…so my lovely girlfriend has the task of dropping me at work each day with my bike. Don't know how I used to survive driving home in the traffic everyday, it was so brutal

I don't usually brag... but I just started a new job, and the company recently moved to Braamfontein, I live just less than 6km's from work AND I've got cycle lanes almost the entire way. I'm definitely going to be commuting a lot more.

Takes me 13 mins to cycle from home to work on the tar. If I take the trail part of the way it might add 10 mins. I also need my car for work so not really possible without all sorts of extra coming and going/fetching bike or car etc.

Just another day commuting to work. So I will first cycle 20km in the opposite direction to fetch a colleague that has not cycled to work for months.

I know it isn't how you meant it, but, I just imagine you giving them a lift on your handlebars... :P

I commute to work every day. It's slightly downhill but almost flat. If I pedal 10 strokes it takes me about 45 seconds.

Some days I just try and maintain flow on the pavements to maintain momentum on my trail bike. Usually about a minute.

The ride home is much tougher though. Nearly 1:30 of constant easy pedaling.
