I am hoping to scare someone into giving away their entries  :whistling:

scare me up one as well while you are at it!

I'd hate missing out on the party afterwards.... a couple of beers in the beer tent....

So looking forward to this. Just wish I was in better shape. Father hood has not been good to me in the last 4 months. Still I'm sure I'll get through it. Went for a 30k ride on Saturday and didn't collapse. Actually I reckon I could've done another 10km comfortably so I should manage. I'm definitely not gunning for a decent time though. Just in it to enjoy the route. I'm rocking much beefier tyres this year than the last time I did it so hoping that makes a difference on the slippery stuff.

Sorry I'm so late to the party but I've got a free entry for the 54km for anyone that is interested. If any payment is due in order to do a substitution, it will be for your cost. First person to PM me gets it.

EDIT: Taken.

Sooo... sounds like the weatherman predicts some thunderstorms for this afternoon. Don't know what the rest of the week looks like, but a repeat of last year on the cards perhaps?

Whoever 947 gets their weather from, that's where I heard it.

Fool me once...shame on you...

Fool me twice...shame on me...

Fool me 365 days of the year...you must be the weatherman

WeatherSA (official SA weather forecaster) says 6-19, SUNNY, WITH 0% CHANCE OF RAIN

Let's hope this is the one that turns out to be true.

Pik Botha in the 1980's: "I categorically deny that there are any South African troops in Angola."

I find that more believable than the weatherman! (And I was a South African troop in Angola at the time!)

Anyway, I hope there is no rain. My first JUMA and riding with my son in his first ever cycling event!

I received my seeding mail for Juma and seems I will welcome the 22km winners before I set of...

Somehow they used my seeding from some time back...before i knew which side the pedals should turn... but I am leaving it at that... not going to start a whole pizzing contest for a few batch upgrades.

SOOOO looking forward to this event, I am sure this will be a hummdinger worth all the wait and parking pain.

See you guys at the start line...or beer tent!
