Keep the back clear of sharp and bulky objects

Reserve your pockets for egg sandwiches and gels

Use a saddle bag rather and/or the tube of your frame

(Hydration packs used to be hydration packs, which is ergonomically cool; these days it has turned into backpacks which poses a risk)

Please never ever ever tape anything to the frame of your road bike

This is true except many of them come with built in back protectors too.

TUBE OF THE FRAME??? Have you cut off your sleeves, taken off your socks and become a try athlete?

Your bags will even offer protection to your precious carbon-frame / -rims / stanchions... and best of all: no saddle bag!

Not good enough....maybe if you poke the end into a wine cork

Had it under the stem but some chop stole it. Seems like people are losing the Samurai swords.
