The reason im taking it further is the simple fact is he did not stop! If he had stopped, different store and the way he sped off was a clear indication he knew what he did.

Hold on the name and shame.  Rather concentrate on a successfull conviction in court.  The details can come out later.  Had I been close by I would rather have attended the court case if possible and see things unfold myself.

So an update, the investigating officer made contact with me today. We are just waiting on the statement from the 3rd party witness.

I also hope to read the full details in the newspaper, and hopefully it makes tv news.

He seems very proactive! Spoken to him twice today as he wants all the details and contacts etc so he can follow up asap he said!

 

I will update where possible but the lawyer has proposed a plan of action which I am happy with but can't air right now.

Im sure we all want to know who it is but there is more at stake here.

Personally I think he should lose his job. I'd sack someone working for me if they tried to kill someone.

So I was the victim of a hit a run this morning. It happened on Bonaero drive next to the airport around 6:30.

 

Guy in a bakkie came up behind us, he hooted so I moved over, as he came passed he swerved towars us and hit me with the loadbin knocking me down! I just missed his mirror and he kept moving over so it was deliberate that he was trying to prove a point or something.

 

Luckily for me a lady stopped, she was pulling out of her driveway across the road and saw the branding on the vehicle! The company in question has been very helpful and has found the vehicle via there tracking device and given me the reg and drivers name.

 

Criminal case has been laid and ive consulted a lawyer who will be taking things further.

 

Grazed knee, elbow and badly bruised right hip with strained muscles in the groin area and before you ask the bike is ok! A couple of scrathes but not major. We both live to ride another day!
