He was some sort of environmentalist who worked with bears. WARNING it is not for the squeemish!I watched the doccie on him a while ago. He was a true activist and he did bring much awareness to the bears. But man, if you are going to live amognst bears, sooner or later they will take a nibble. I thought the tapes of him being eaten were destroyed, it was a focal point in the film.
