Hands down one of the best organized races I have ever done.

 

From the parking, to the route marshals to the registrations, the full road closure on the last bit (great idea!!) I loved it.

 

Just a little sad that our junior wasn't called to the podium. No prize giving for U23 and Juniors. But good idea to give prizes to all the other groups.

Having said that, I am now truly over windy races!! Ma se hare!!

That is an instruction from CSA to combine the Juniors and Elites. U23 always race with Elites.

Got our sub3 from DL, we started quite fast. The last 20km was insane with the headwind.

Gerald! This was an awesome race, so well organised, never had to ask anything about what to do. The wind on the other hand... Was really fun for my first one. Started really fast (too fast) and once we turned and got blasted in the face the legs weren't there. Still had an awesome time even though I am well and proper broken.
