no one's talkign about those amazing anti-vibration pads stuck all over Commencal bikes. First thought was : power balance. remember those 'devices' with near miraculous capabilities?

uses quantum electrodynamics to disrupt vibrations at the atomic level, or something to that effect. f'ing amazeballs, especially the part where one of the Commencal riders said the change in bike behaviour was immediate and substantial.

And here's me thinking that they're just funky bump-stops...

They look like those stickers on high value items in a store that are designed to trigger the alarm at the door.

Snake oil BS, if you ask me.

On the topic of Gwin. I don't think he's arrogant (as fast as he is), it's his intense focus and drive to win that probably distances a lot of riders from him.

Coming from BMX, he's like the guys that train day and night to be the best. It's evident he feels very competitive with certain riders, but you can see he was genuinely happy for Hart to take the win!

I think the TDF is streets ahead in entertainment value over XCO.

Absolutely! Especially now that it is a full contact sport.....

where do you get that idea from?

I get the sense that josh and greg aren't the biggest of pals...so if that is the case then it would make sense the when peaty leaves...so does he...

sounds like the luca shaw rumour is gaining momentum though

Just based on his whole demeanour this year and a random comment Palmer made at round 1 or 2 saying Ratboy is all that's left of DH racing's true soul...so, pretty much just a feint fart is what I've got.  Still.  I just have a feeling.

RR alone or the new dutch overloads?

What you said makes me again wonder about how the hell CRC/wiggle is happy with Sam Hill's status quo.

Sam Hill still at least pretends to try.  Plus he's Sam F*cking Hill.  He sells.

so luca shaw was chilling with Greg in Morzine before lenzerheide.........those rumours starting to look real...

last two rounds, the photogs made a point of capturing those two together. rumor stoking started early this year.

Watched the Syndicate video today and is it just my imagination seeing things or does Ratboy genuinely just seem less chipper?  He's obviously still right up there on pace and needs a second or two to threaten the podium again, but he just really seems like he can't be arsed.

Minnaar is obviously their posterchild for the next few seasons still and with Luca coming in potentially as understudy Ratboy is starting to look mighty lonely without Peat around.

Also watched WynTV.  Man, the Atherton drama is becoming hilarious.  Quite obviously GT didn't take too kindly to them bailing to Trek.
