I've just received this from a neighbuorhood Whatsapp group.

If anyone one has had a bike stolen might be here...

"Hi all i would like to inform you about the arrest of 3 Malawian national males ages 24, 33 and 33 and two South African colored males ages 33 and 39 that was conducted on wednesday the 6th of June 2016

The suspects were cought with twenty one bicycles of which some are imported and used for sports, they were also caught with house hold goods, with some construction impliments and with some flat screen televisions all the items are above R1000 000 (million)

This items were recovered after we follow up an information of a house braking hapened in a house in Claremont where two bicycles were stolen and suspect were captured by a private security camera and when we view the footage suspects were known to us as they are regular strollers in the area their arrest led us to a person who bought the bicycles a cataker in a mosque in Claremont and they pointed out a Malawian national male as the person that bought the bicycles. We were then given a permission to look for the stolen items by persons in charge of the mosque and we found the bicycles in question and the rest of stolen items that he could not provide the proof of ownership.

The police have reason to beleive that this is part of the syndicate that operates in the area.

On Saturday the 23rd of July 2016 we would like the community to come to Saps Claremont with their identification documents and identify their property between 10:00 and 14:00 nd

If there are people with more information can contact Sergeant Lindile Dubeni  on 079 894 1492 or Captain Eshly Naidoo on 021 657 2266

Regards"

It was very difficult to read that piece of writing.

But, Well done to both the private security company as well as the SAPS for making the discovery, and arrests.

Perhaps if I donate a machete to the mosque, they could hand down some justice on a quiet Friday afternoon? (All puns intended!)
