Good morning everyone,

Seeing that it is Friday, I think I can post this thread. Just to clearly state, I have no issue with the quality of the product, very happy with it, just have a big issue with BAD service.

I recently saw and ad posted in the classified section for "crank decals", and thought it to be a great idea to protect my XT crank set, and to revive my old deore crank set. Got hold of the guy at Cycling Decals, and as per normal, asked a million questions as to get my order tailor made, even added a set of fork decals as it seemed more efficient that way to qualify for the free shipping, all and all, neary 700 bucks worth of decals ordered.

Up until the order was placed, the correspondence was great, got replies at all hours of the day. Ordered was finalized, and paid and got my postnet tracking number shortly after.

Last Friday I picked up my goodies from Postnet, only to find that I only received 2 of the 3 decal set I ordered. Immediately contacted Cycling Decals to let them know about the short delivery, not expecting an answer to at least Monday, seeing that it was weekend (but also kept the reference of having email correspondence over the previous weekend in the back of my mind.)

Monday came and went, no reply. So I sent another email..and so it progressed. All in all 4 emails, informing them about the delivery issue, no reply. Kept trying to phone them, and finally got through  on Wednesday afternoon. Was promised that my replacement decals will sent the next day (Thursday)...it is now Friday, and still no tracking number.

So the school fees has been paid. R200 lost for a set of decals wont kill me, just sad that this is what their customer service looks like. Planned to do my lady's bike next month, but hey, no chance of that now.

I kept all the email correspondence, and will send them a link of this thread if they want to state their side of the story.

So anyone planning to do business with them, take heed.

Happy Friday everyone.

I have sent mails and PM's and receiving no feedback.

Payment was made the 6 July 2016.

After payment I received an example of the decal on the 12 July 2016 on which I replied and given the go ahead.

No correspondence there after, no tracking number.

As a last resort I phoned this afternoon and left a message.

The service I received from him is shocking had the same problem once things were paid eventually got my fork decals and he sent the wrong size and the quality was not great. After many messages with no happiness I got Tyrone to do it for me and the service and quality was top notch. A month later I get a message to tell me that my decals were sent via Postnet and that I would get a waybill number soon I am now almost 6 weeks down and I am still waiting for the waybill number I got a message a week ago from Postnet to tell me that my package has arrived.Don't bother getting hold of him because the reply time is shocking.

Yet the guy has no ratings - use the system guys to give others a heads up. that's what it's there for.

I am still looking forward to receiving the decals for my wifes bike.

I like what they are doing, the look and branding of their product.

The preview of the design looks awesome and way above my expectation.

It is not their 9-5 job and I do have consideration for that.

It was never my intention for them to loose out on possible sales.

I did add to this post to use the medium to engage with them.

Above is the reason why I did not rate them.

If they can sort their communication and require a 50% deposit, I am sure they will be successful.

I dont know why everyone just dont make use of Tyrone. He has been around long enough and has done more decals than anyone else. Yet everyone else pops up and disappoints and then gets referred to Tyrone.
