Can anyone help with a tip or trick on how to get branding that has gone bad off bibs which are pretty much still new and in good working condition.  Some of the branding starts to flake/crack after a couple of washes and just looks pretty horrible...

From that thread title I thought you were asking advice on a completely different subject. In which case the advice above would be a good start too.

As you were.

Begs the question...how did the flaking occur?

I'll show myself out thanks...

Did ironing the bib start it to flake?

If it did, maybe iron it again, warming it up and slowly peel off?

I have no idea if this will work just trying to apply some logic

On the actual subject though, the solvent usually used in screenprinting is acetone. It may dissolve the lycra too though, so maybe test on an old pair first.

Africa is ok. It's just the Hub that nails you
