Thor Buttox Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 What was the window maker doing on the trails, last I saw there was no need for new windows? Myles finds uphill a pane.
MTBeer Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 Myles finds uphill a pane.when he gets to the top he feels quite shattered.
Thermophage Posted September 30, 2016 Author Posted September 30, 2016 I ride alone...often. I'm aware it's not a good idea...do I really care? No...because I want to ride.Falling can happen to anyone anywhere anytime, so it's not worth concerning oneself about enough to stop you doing something...Otherwise take up knitting...Just be careful as them needles are sharp.
Thor Buttox Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 when he gets to the top he feels quite shattered. But on the downhills he's bullet-proof

I actually enjoy the peace and quiet. But when I'm alone I tend to ride a bit slower and more carefully. No guarantee of not falling, but reducing the risk a bit.
Captain Fastbastard Mayhem Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 But on the downhills he's bullet-proofPFFT. That's the sound of my rapidly deflating ego as I land at the bottom of the 2nd to last stile on the way back to the carpark, in what can only be described as a sack of poo.
Captain Fastbastard Mayhem Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 What was the window maker doing on the trails, last I saw there was no need for new windows? GAAAAH!!! Bloody autocorrect.
capediver Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 OK so someone send me a map....gotta go have a look see.....
Thermophage Posted September 30, 2016 Author Posted September 30, 2016 Can we not hold a damn community build day and go tackle that upper section in Majik forest towards the pines? There's so much bloody potential for rad stuff and about 30 tonnes of rock on the side of the trail which would easily allow building some fun stuff. The whole trail needs a SERIOUS bush trim as well....

Eugene Oppelt Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 Rolled down the D Ville hill after some coffee and toast to inspect the Cobra and the new beautiful FarEnoughd singletrack:I officially declare it rideable and enjoyable for the dirt roadie community, subject to:*Oefen your pump action*Watch out for rogue butterflies and bees*Stay vigilant as there as some sections are faaaaast quickly, and*Zip up those big bridges otherwise you're Superman with Kryptonite in his jersey pockets*Relax and let the bike do what it's built to doTim for 2 liters of choc milk
T-Bob Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 it is not a trail you want to end up being incapacitated on. Don't ride on your own unless you're happy to spend a few hours baking in the sun waiting for help. When I rode Z i rode it alone... like totally alone. I didn't see another person from start to finish until I got back to the car park which was a bit weird as at the bottom of one of the ravines before another climb I did think 'wonder how long before some one would find me'. But then I realised the weird amount of crows and buzzards that had been following me for a while and were now circling would lead any rescuers to my broken body.

Jinne. They look like bees, cos they're yellow. Then you also get the fake bees, which bite as well. But those horse fly POS things. Bloody hell.

Hot as hell in the wind shadow of the South Easter and I reckon there will be a gazillion flies fighting to crawl into a mouth gaping for air on the climb back out.
