Starting in F(seeding of 27.89), very happy, considering I got my first road bike in January of this year.

Started in a Corporate bond last year at 8:06, this year I start at 6:36, massive improvement for the heat later on in the day!

Finished the 947 in 4h20(2014) and 4h08(2015) on MTB, gonna push for sub 3h30 on the roadbike, will be happy for anything less.

So strange.

Seeding index is around 10.

last year I was in B batch, and did 2:3x:xx. This year I'm in DL?

Not sure I want to throw another R150 at this, but I was hoping for A or B. Decisions decisions.

I think we are all getting ahead of ourselves... no official seeding has been sent out so it could all still change anyway.

possible as entries are still open, but doubt they will get thousands more so the batches shouldn't be seriously affected.

My Race number starts with an F, so I doubt that they will change the starting group for anyone content with their placement. They probably leave a couple of spaces vacant in every group to move people around that apply for a reseed, who will then subsequently be issued a new race number... well that's how I understand the process.

From their website:

If I would like to be reseed, how do I apply?

You will be emailed your start time on the 7th October. You may then apply for a reseed by requesting a reseed form, completing it, and sending it back to the Race Office with valid results which were not considered in our initial seeding criteria. All applications must be in and paid for by 13h00 on the 14th October.

I find it quite stupid that they close the reseeding basically the day before the Amashova. Luckily I am seeded exactly where I wanted to be so its not an issue on this occasion but if not I was hoping to improve my seeding at Amashova. There haven't really been many big events with good betas since before the winter so it's just not that logical to me that they wouldn't open a back door for the guys who are now really working on their racing and have a perfectly good opportunity to prove themselves and show some current form. They really could have just left it open for 3 more days, surely?
