I would go for the MRP Stage, super slick fork!

Guide RS's or hopes :-p

Flow MK3 on Hope Pro 4

Not a reverb dropper, something else, anything really...

actually,

if he runs SRAM brakes, XT shifters, then he still heading for 3 clamps per side.

He currently has a Easton haven carbon bar, so probably something similar, XT pedals. What is an alternative or better dropper than the Reverb, and cost?

Hi Guys,

My father-in-law is building up a new Pyga Stage and I would just like to get a bit of information with regards to any alternative part options. A bit of info, it must be 2x11 and rider weight of 104kg.

So this is the build plan:

Frame - Pyga Stage

Wheels - Flow Ex (v3) on Hope (Pro 4)

Fork - SID/Pike/Reba, and other 120mm option? (Pike in 120mm)

Rear - Monarch

Groupset - XT 2x11

Brakes - Guide Ultimates / RS

Seatpost - Reverb Stealth (Lyne Contour Dropper) Link: Here

If you were to change anything what would it be?

Thanks

Something cable actuated... Like the Lyne mentioned above...

unless he runs the problemsolvers, in which case it'll be 2 per side.

Nor sure if they're problem solver clamps but my bike came with one clamp for the shifter, brake lever AND the dropper. so even with a lockout instead he will be smiling

SRAM?

If it's all SRAM then it'd be their matchmaker clamp.

SRAM could also be run 2 x 11 - GX has a 2 x 11 specific rear dr - awesome bit of kit with a 42/10 cluster capability - more than 2 x 11 shimano which limits it to 40/11 I think (not 100% on that)

Shimano has the XT available in 2x11 as 11-42.

You can also fit a Sunrace 11-46 at the back with a single 32 or 34 chainring, when using their long cage SGS derailer.
