I think I agree with those other teams (even though I am a Sky fan) The rules say that the skin suit must follow the shape of the body and not have anything added to increase aerodynamic effect. Just because their dimpling is integrated, and small, doesn't excuse them. I think we're about to see some interesting integration attempts into skinsuits. And I think the UCI will have to bring it back and disallow all these integrations, including Sky's... I recall seeing Thomas wearing it during the Giro. why didn't they moan then? I am not a Sky fan.. but I very much doubt anything would've given them an advantage on Saturday in that rain. Although I have some dimpling effect well integrated into my butt and can confirm it hasn't helped me much.... The skinsuit in question..... Isn't there a brand of TT helmet that's dimpled like a golf ball as well? Maybe UCI rules differ for clothing vs helmets? Sounds like a bit of 'dammit, why didn't we think of that' to me. Anyway, everyone now has the greenlight if they want it, granted tricky to implement within the current TdF...
