Good luck to all the machines that are racing. Respect! Hopefully the second version will bring the stability to this race, so that some solid international riders return, after the first race cancellation debacle. It would be great for some locals to kick some serious butt on our turf.

Hot damn its almost time!!!

Cant wait, between the dots and the chatting in last years thread this is going to be awesome.

 

The feeling of despair when someone you dont even know goes inactive for a long time seemingly without reason, the joy when you see someone pushing through and doing well. The yelling at your screen when you see them going off course!!

 

There is something very special about this race.

Gonna be in Cape town this weekend, and i may have time to pop in at the finish on friday.

I would say very early Saturday Morning is a realistic ETA for the winner

yip - last year  - the winner finished early sat morning - i think it was like 7am if i recall correctly

The winner arrived just before 9 Sat morning last year. I think this year the winner will be in earlier Sat morning...like in the graveyard shift hours...
