S agan’s quote about that day.

’Milan-San Reno is a cool race. I came second there in 2013 in a sprint from a little group when Fabian Cancellara and I concentrated on each other too much and got caught out by that wily German sprinter Gerald Ciolek.’ ~ page 203, My World.

I’ll go with the big guys marking each other, and an underdog sneaking the win.

G

I'm hoping Sagan can slip away while Wout, Mathieu and the rainbow jersey mark each other

It takes quite a bit to beat Mads in a drag race

Chapeau Tim Merlier ????

I loved Merlier's sprint, check over shoulder, sprint some more, win routine. Kinda cheeky but well powerful!

47.4kph average. Huge tailwind and 56km clocked in the first hour!! Damn.

CIPRESSA to create all that chaos he loves so much.

Rule of thumb is you need 20 sec at the top of the Poggio.. Don't think he'll leave it to that.

Yup , I'm pretty sure MVDP will strike from long range.

Oh tailwind.. This could be a hard race can't have a break going far.

Remember that year when there was a tailwind at PR and no break went until very very late.

My outside picks are:

Arnaud Demare

Kwiato,

Soren Kragh-Anderson

Assuming the favourites all mark each other and can’t escape up the Cipressa and/or Poggio.

Ah the good life, did a nice 4.5 hour ride, now lying on the couch watching these okes clock by the kms. Got a good 4-5 hours of nap worthy riding to watch, before it gets exciting.

Man those gold and black Colnagos of the Novo Nordisk team are pretty.
