Maybe he is transitioning towards a GC contender...

(Joking... But how cool would it be if he does decide to make the transition?)

He won't make it in the medium and high mountains. It's a Hulk thing.

Just ask Kawasaki who is even lighter and smaller in built than Sagz Baby

He coach believes he could transition.

He is just too chunky and if he tones down he will probably lose muscle mass and power.

His time trialing is also not that brilliant even at his current weight.

Personally I think the new breed of Columbian climbers and the Yates brothers are going to dominate the grand tours once the Froome/ Dumoulin/Thomas era comes to an end. Roglic might challenge them.

Meanwhile, at Tirreno', asking the magnificent Lutsenko how his breakaway attempt went yesterday?

"Min dae" till Milan San Remo..and for the first time Bora have a few cards to play.

Oss for a longer range attack, Sagan for a move on the Poggio (depending on how he has recovered after the illness..he lost not only weight but form) and Sammy B for the sprint...[emoji2368]

Quite impressed by Nairo yesterday at PN.

IMO I do believe the reason no one helped him is due to the fact that they know there's no chance he would've helped them if the foot was on the other shoe.

That was exactly my thoughts too . At a time he seemed to go from rider to rider trying to do recruitment  :D

I was also impressed with the calmness showed by Egan... I am sure he must have been very tempted to follow Nairo when he attacked but the trust he showed in his team paid off.

But, yes, like you said Nairo was also impressive and showed that he is far from over the hill.

Agreed PN was great to watch yesterday! I'm normally left quite underwhelmed by Nairo so I was really glad to see him put some work in - for the most part, really good stuff.

Astana must be doing something special again, shame most of those that leave Vino's team have struggles getting back up to those levels.

Meanwhile, in Italy

Dig this racer with the ultra high leg speed

Primoz Roglic (Jumbo-Visma) delivered a dramatic overall victory at Tirreno-Adriatico, overhauling Adam Yates (Mitchelton-Scott) by a single second with a solid ride in the final time trial. The Slovenian started the day 25 seconds down on Yates, who had held the race lead from the second stage of the race, but was just fast enough over the 10-kilometer TT in San Benedetto del Tronto to snatch the victory by the narrowest of margins.

I seriously like Roglic, has some character.

I read somewhere he officially took the race by 0.31s, insane!

I think we can expect to see more of him on the top step of the Grand Tour podiums - good climber, killah TT and a great team.
