Very happy with my Sunrace. Works as it should, is still going on and I'll be picking up a new one for my other bike as soon as my XT dies.

for as long as I can remember, sunrace have been making bicycles parts. They disappeared from the market or rather shrunk a little. I remember sunrace shifters and derailleurs as well.

I use Sunrace cassettes, think they are good. A worn chain will ruin any cassette pretty quickly. Need to check with chain wear indicator and replace when worn.

The cassette will also slip if the front chain ring is worn.

Running 2 bikes with 10 speed 11 x 42 and a 11 speed 11 x 46 with rapide oval and round chainring .Both work perfect .Will have to wait and see about durability .Will definitely buy them again

I've also gone the 11 - 42 Sunrace route, but went for the steel, not the aluminum. Will be fitted this week, have gone through 2 sets of 11 - 42 XT in around 5000 kays..

Update on my steel Sunrace 11-42 cassette. Have now completed 3090 km's on it and it still looks brand new.

Very happy with it!

Sunrace seems to be the in thing regarding cassettes.

Seeing so many people are happy with the cassettes, why are we not seeing other groupset parts on the bikes.

In addition to cassettes, Sunrace also have shifters, derailleurs and cranksets. They seem to be rebranded Microshift, which are pretty good

if you have an older 10spd Shadow+ deraileur ( 786 ) and want to put the 11-46 sunrace then you will probably need a Goatlink 11 to make it work

Switched to a 11 - 46 Sunrace today. Nothing wrong with my 11 - 42, just wanted a bit of extra gearing for my ride in a few weeks time. Have stuck with a 2x upfront (26/36).

I bought a Sunrace 11-42 cassette and YBN chain combo about a year ago, I had no issues with it at all. Then a month ago I had to replace that chain, as it was worn badly. Now with a new KMC chain, the chain slips on the 42T sprocket when I climb steeps.

Do you think the 42T is done for? The chainline is as good as it can be, and I have checked all the limits and B-screw.

I just feel that 1 year lifespan is a bit disappointing. I have no idea how many kms I have on it, maybe around 1500kms.

Do you know how many km you did on the YBN chain ?
