Was down at Strand for a run. Was blowing a gale down there. Went to Radlov Park instead. Everything was covered with a thick layer of ash this morning.

its raining ash in somerset west.

 

thats the stoep this morning after the wind last night. now the ash just falls straight down

Looks like we are in for a dire MTB season this year, riding mostly through black and white moon landscapes.

My recreational rides in and around our valley is insignificant to the R60million in damage to date. While it is inconvenient, I cannot help but think about the enormous financial and environmental cost to land owners.

get all your mates together and put the following items in a bakkie and drive to paarl, where they need it.

 

 

Bully Beef

Eggs

Onions

Mayonnaise

Mrs Balls Original Chutney

Salt and White pepper

Peanut Butter

Jam

Energy Bars

Paper packets that can take 2 sandwiches

Lip Ice

Rehydrate

Wet whipes

Eye drops

 

stuff in bold should be easy for you as a cyclist.
