Could I add canoeing as a commuting exercise?  At the rate it has been going this week I could just as well sell my bike and get a kayak or something.

No, that is the river but normally a meter or two lower.  The shores of the river is commonly called Munich Beach as this spot is packed in the afternoon with sunbathers.  THat aint happening today.

The plastic keeping the buckle to the shoes came apart ... so attached a piece a leather in the meantime until I have time to fit/find new shoes .... so I don't miss a commute ????

Looks like the first lady will also enter the 3000 club soon.

I had exactly the same pair of shoes.

 

Purchased in 2008 and last week the buckle broke off the shoe

 

I was not unhappy as I hated the fit of them and only used them for spinning.

and I am picking them up at Willowbridge tomorrow ..... along with my new set of commuter tyres

Howzit unfortunately 3rd one flu ,fever,got sick last Thursday spend till Sunday in the bed,still not feeling 100 % so taking easy and driving  car to work .Maybe try some mtb this weekend if not too cold .
