Hairy Posted December 12, 2017 Posted December 12, 2017 Seems like a lot of people are on the verge of the next 1000 at the moment. When will Stefano make that 8000?And will Jerome hit that 7000 today? Tomorrow? Can Ludwig squeeze in another commute to get to 6000 before the end of the year? And will Willem get the 127.4 needed to get to his 6000 before the end of the year? Will Andrew get to 4000 before he goes on leave, or will he have to cycle to the shops while on holiday? If Nick can cycle 227.4 to get to 4000 then all top 10 would be over 4000 for the year. Will Steven get to 2000? Will Nancy get to 1500? (Maybe between Xmas and new year when it's quiet?) So much possibility.I should have hit the 7K on the way home last night, but in the morning Endomondo did not record Took the car in today due to work commitments, and will hit the 7K tomorrow into town when I hit the coffee stop.

Only really started to walk like I wasn't a gangster yesterday. First 2 days I was in a lot of pain with a blue cankle!!! Wanted to train today but it was still a bit too sore. Supposed to rest till next week but I am going crazy being off the bike. Can't miss another weekend of training. Hope to commute again towards end of the week.

Long Wheel Base Posted December 12, 2017 Posted December 12, 2017 hope you heal up soon ... maybe start with a pair of flats so that you don't have any torsional strain on the ankle when un-clipping?Actually not a bad idea. Ill see how it goes. Want to try get onto the IDT tonight or tomorrow. It has been getting better every day so I am sure in the next day or so i'll be able to ride again. Besides, driving to work everyday sucks. I can't stand the way people drive and my car is heavy on fuel so its klapping my wallet six love.
Hairy Posted December 12, 2017 Posted December 12, 2017 I find the combined stats interesting! AT a basic cost p/km using the AA rate on my car, for the group the cost on fuel saving = R209 802,16

I plan on hitting the 8000km this week before leave starts Friday afternoon. So have been adding some distance each day.Definitely think i can hit 9500/10 000km next year if i commute in summer as much as i did in winter. But will see. For now the aim next year is 9000km.

Flemish Lion Posted December 12, 2017 Posted December 12, 2017 Is there no platform we can use in 2018 to accommodate the NON Edmondo users? Please... This year I'll do 440 commutes (one way trips) with 15km each (about 6.600 km in total) and about 100km of total climbing.

Flemish Lion Posted December 12, 2017 Posted December 12, 2017 Does Endo not work on your device? I use Strava on my phone... so can I import my Strava files into Endo?

I don't want to use 2 apps to record my rides.. so either I must be able to export the Endo files to Strava or from Strava to Endo
Bateleur1 Posted December 12, 2017 Posted December 12, 2017 I use Strava on my phone... so can I import my Strava files into Endo? Not that I am aware of. I used to record my rides on Strava but installed Endomondo for the challange and ran both apps when riding. Got my Garmin in Sep and it made my life so much easier.
