The peloton is at 1'40" and other riders are still trying to jump ahead.

If he was to go on and win the Giro in 2018, Would that make it a Triple? Or is the cycling community pedantic and require it to all be in the same cycling calendar year?

 

 

I think the only way he will ever go to the Giro is if he has already won the Vuelta. Because no matter how many TDF's he has to his name, there is an even more elite club of riders who has won all three GT's and Nibali is in that club while CF ain't. Highly doubt it would be 2018 though. Personally i would enjoy seeing in at my favourite GT of the year, the Giro.
