scotty Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 Stage was insane, nice stage win Berto. Well done Froome who even managed to crack a smile on the finish line and Poels who had a brilliant ride
'Dale Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 Was an emotional day for me. Shed a tear as Berto crossed the line. Felicitaciones al mejor jinete de nuestra generación, significó mucho para mí durante más de una década. Todo lo mejor el pistolero.Respecto a JTI felt the tug of the heart too, Cav'His courage to attack long-range is just legendary even in an era with power meter governed racing. He's gentle nature, quiet disposition and gracious personality too was immense. The respect of racers from teams helping him bridge or gain time is the ultimate reflection of his status in the peloton.
Thor Buttox Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 Gotta love the way Berto races. Raced. Froomey is just too good at the moment and that team is just next level.
Gen Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 Gotta love the way Berto races. Raced. Froomey is just too good at the moment and that team is just next level. And it wasn't easy for them..they had to work very hard to take that red jersey..his teammates were phenomenal. But I must be honest I am glad he has now won it, and doesn't need to go for it again.. I don't like the way they race and would prefer him just to turn focus back to the TDF and leave the Vuelta alone..[emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji6] Sure he will try the Giro but not before 2019.[emoji23] And I say all of this not out of disrespect at all..he has done really well and deserves the accolades..it just my personal preference that's all.[emoji111] Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk

Sent from my SM-N9005 using TapatalkThere will always be someone else
Gen Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 https://twitter.com/chrisfroome/status/906571717270798336 Definitely the hardest Grand Tour I've done [emoji109] Thanks for the amazing support over the past 3 weeks. It's been emotional! #LV2017 #lavuelta https://t.co/T4dAhVuUSn Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
Gen Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 Aaah Nibali did fall and has bruses and eina ribs..not sure what the damage is..he definitely struggled must habe been sore breathing. Well he did have to try and sometimes even the best descenders make errors Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
Gen Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 I see on the results that de La Cruz DNF[emoji53] that fall looked very bad..shame man he fought so hard and to not finish with 1 day to.go..shame Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
dsw Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 It was lovely to hear how Froome praised Contador during the interview after the stage... " We gave it our all to catch him but he was just too strong". Froome is pure class and not only as a bike racer.
dev null Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 I see on the results that de La Cruz DNF[emoji53] that fall looked very bad..shame man he fought so hard and to not finish with 1 day to.go..shame Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk He is young. He will learn from this experience. It's a balancing act trying to move up the GC ladder a day before the finish taking risks, against riding safe enough to finish the tour as high up as you can.
FirstV8 Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 What a gentlemanly gesture of Froome to go onto the podium and wish Contador well . That is a monstrous mountain .
'Dale Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 Something poetic https://youtu.be/hETCChBj6hU
