I like the brainfreeze and it keeps my back nice and cool. You're the only human being I've heard of that declares they like brain freeze.

Veebee Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 Camelbak big chill bottles work. 1 goes in the fridge and the other in the freezer, by the time you need the second bottle on your ride it will be ready to drink and still very "chilled"

Bateleur1 Posted February 13, 2017 Posted February 13, 2017 In SA and in summer here I will freeze one full bottle and the second 3/4 full. Will top up the just before my ride with normal water. In spring and autumn here I don't bother. The water cools to lower temps than in the fridge when riding

I would never race with my Camelback/Sako7/Rapha/Assos bottles, if you drop them in a race they are gone. Only race with my older Spez bottles (they fit the cages best) or those crappy freebie ones you get in race packs.
