He paddled through iceland with Dan Skinstad (who has mobility issues from polio as a child), he paddled solo around madagascar and more recently he paddled from Morrocco to New York in a rowing boat with his Missus... (who incidentally is the one who pulled out of the Epic last minute creating this competition..). He is quite an accomplished explorer and adventurer....
