Long story short...my PI skills kicked in on friday afternoon and i found a bit more detail out about him. I found his address and went to go have a face to face chat with him.

 

But all i found was an extremely caring and concerned father and mother. He has been in contact with me since and he is trying to work something out to get me my money back.

I just really hope that he makes a plan and gets your money back to you ASAP, and this doesn't drag on for another 2 or 3 weeks.

I have been in contact with the 2 other guys on here. I will keep them updated of my progress. I have also mentioned to the parents i am not the only guy. So as things progress i will keep all affected parties updated. Not that any of them was interested in making the original planned police case with me...

If you lay a case and he's found guilty he will probably get away with a suspended sentence. Repeat offender - he won't be so lucky. Keep contact with the other two guys. Good luck!

Maybe we can get a system like ebay where people can be rated, but also marked as a seller that might deal in a less than honest way.

That's because nobody flagged him; we have the system, we just don't use it

So i eventually got my money back yesterday afternoon. I will be sending his fathers contact details onto the 2 other okes that i know he owe's money to.
