Cyclist down on Constantia Nek as well this morning at about 9 - bends half way down.

 

It was my father, the sharp right hand corner descending into Hout Bay, just before the construction site. No cars involved

 

Broken clavicle

6 Broken ribs

Broken hip

Head laceration 

Concussion

 

He is in ICU at the moment, but will be ok.

 

There was a diesel spill in the road and him and his friend both went down very hard, the friend is grazed and bruised, but ok. Apparently about four other guys had crashed a few minutes before as well.
