Wattbike in cycle entertainment.

hi all,

I've been using the wattbike at the gym for quite some time, and was wondering what you guys and gals do to entertain yourself on longer rides?

i tend to use the full length of the handlebars in the "aero" position (such as when I ride my TT bike). so the handlebar is fully occupied.

I have both 7 and 10" tablets and was wondering if i could use a clamp mounting of some sorts to have my tablet there to run training programs, etc to make the ride more exciting.

I would find it a little too hard to watch anything through the tears if I was sitting on a watt bike.

Hi Renier, I found that using the watt bike app not only keeps my mind busy trying to keep power consistent on the graph, hr in the right zone and cadence where it should be, but also ensures I get the most out of each session. I have attached a screen shot of watt it looks like. No boredom when doing a challenging workout! a6311556b58099b615bbe1b341e28d91.jpg

do you guys take your own bike measurements with you to set up the watt bike correctly?

i tried that but it was never 100% then got someone that does professional bike setups to meet me at the gym & she set me up for R150.

My attempt at Building Blocks. No time to be bored, only wishing death would come faster!

how the heck do you find the time?

more than an hour in the gym with all those gym bunnies is enough to make me want to jump through a window.

bwa ha ha!! im building my fitness base :P thus need to do as much as i can with each "type" of leg, that i have something to work off of on weekends. but i only do this every second day, 1hr wattbike, 30min run, 1.5-2km swim then home.

those gym bunnies(the hot ones) make up for the effort hahaha. the bachelor life.. gotto love it

I feel the same about building blocks, My best average wattage during Building blocks were 265 and I nearly died.

That's a super number! Doing all the Endurance ones on a loop, so it'll make an appearance again next week
