Thats my opinion, im sure others agreeI hear you, it would be great for regular posters to win more comps, but a competition like this one, and some of the others mentioned, were not designed to be a "regular posters only" affair. Many are not even exclusive to Bike Hub. I do agree that those who may sign up just for a competition and never come back offer little value and often leave a bitter taste. In this case though, the winner has been a Hub member for a good length of time, albeit not a forum participant, but a long standing member nonetheless. What we will do though is look at the possibility of creating comps which are based specifically on forum activity, looking at participation, post count, etc. It would be great to reward the regulars who continue to provide valuable posts. Lets rather shift that discussion to a separate thread.

Lets rather shift that discussion to a separate thread. What you can do is use monetary unit sampling technique on post count. So everyone one gets an entry into the draw per post on profile, limited to say 100 posts. That way every single "unit" has the same chance at being chosen, just some okes have a few more units. There are plenty of people on the hub with a few extra units.
