Yes I'm pulling hard for it, rider deserves it but its not as easy as that but he will have Stagaire gig 1 August onwards as a job interview.

Teams already giving Ineos a run for the money - Classics - they been run over. Tours - They not nearly as dominant in 2019 compared to previous. If you look at them in detail this year, they not the same.

If you look at them in detail this year, they not the same. I tend to agree. The TTT didn't really reveal any chinks in the armour but they are not looking as comfortable at the head of the train during the finish run ins as they did the previous two years. I wonder if they will be looking to sign any additional younger potential GC contenders riders for 2020 just to cover the possibility of a Froome come back not working out as planned.
