Cheap dropper posts?

I have both the Lyne and the rapide. While both are very well priced I think the Lyne is slightly more refined. Wouldn't bother with anything more expensive. Ride it till it breaks. Try to fix it. Or just replace for half the price of a reverb service.

I dont need a dropper post, I dont need a dropper post... Oh who am I kidding? I need a dropper post...

Ha - been telling myself that for three years now.

I was hoping I could get the Lyne in a 27.2, but my seatpost hight ruled that possibility out. I am on the cut off between a Large and X-Large and ride the large. My 400mm post is nearly maxed out in the frame.

Where are you based? I have a 120 30.9 but wanted the 150...

Mine is brand new

Ah.... Nuts. Just found out my 150mm internal is just a bit to long for my new frame. Keeps hitting the pivot bolt and can't get it low enough so I'll have to get a 120mm from them to match the one on my Tranny.

So if anyone wants a 6 ride old,150mm, internal Lyne (they are sold out on the site) then let me know or keep an eye in the classifieds.

Just pulled the trigger on a Lyne. Hope the international shipping is pretty quick

IE it should fit. 8-11 speed cassettes have the same width on the mounting point.

The Rapidé Ultralight PRO rear hub is supplied with a quick change 12mm Thru Axel, Quick Release adapters and a Quick Release skewer. The 8/9/10/11 speed compatible cassette body is made from light and strong 7075 alloy. Also available with a lightweight SRAM® XD XX1 cassette body. Ideal for XC and trail use.

Ohhh.... That's interesting. I'm based in CT and got one of the first 150's that had a cartridge issue. They were up front about it and it only affected about 30% of that initial batch and said if mine had an issue then they would just install a new cartridge. I got them to do this yesterday. so that is fresh and new.

If you're keen to do a swap out then drop me a PM and we can make a plan.

Sorry to revive this.

Anyone on a Lyne?

Happy?

Getting VERY gatvol of my variable drop reverb

Mine has been bulletproof over 18 months. Just ensure that the cable has enough slack otherwise it doesn't release fully sometimes.

Yeah I picked up on that too.

Some fussy cable adjustment which is probably my fault. But other than that its been fine. Feels really well made. Pretty too. The only thing that bothers me is the standard lever it comes with. Why did that little silver tube have to be involved? Its ruining my selfies.
