Yeah I picked up on that too.

Some fussy cable adjustment which is probably my fault. But other than that its been fine. Feels really well made. Pretty too. The only thing that bothers me is the standard lever it comes with. Why did that little silver tube have to be involved? Its ruining my selfies.

Some Pink spray paint and clear lacquer should fix that :)

Ok good. Taking my bike to Stoke this week to see if a 150 will work for my bike and my preferred saddle height. They will order & fit.

Does anyone own or has anyone had experience with the Brand X dropper from CRC? They're currently available at a tempting price but I'm unsure if it's worth it, given warranty issues might be a hack fest (can't be discounted with droppers) and servicing is not possible/also a hack. But then at the current asking price, maybe those things don't matter that much...

I have that exact one, it's fantastic. Identical to the Lynne, even the same brilliant lever.

The Giant droppers are worth the money.

Only bit of advice on the Giant, get some shock grease. Uncrew the collar and apply grease where the stanchion interface with the bushing. Depending on how much you ride, it is worth doing once a month.

It looks like Rapide external droppers now also have the fixed cable mount (attached to the collar)

To me the Lyne and Rapide look identical now? The specs are also identical, including the mass, to the gram...

But the graphics are different...

Satori or Rapide? Rapid @ R1600 for an internal and replacement cartridges for R500 odd seems a no brainer.

I really wanted a 1up but that ends up being over R3K and given the issues the seem to present with dropper posts I don't want to buy from abroad and find I've got to return it.

Has anyone used the Forca SPS-400 for a length of time?

I got my son a 2nd hand one - I hope it wasn't a waste of $$.

I have scoured the interwebs and cannot find a user manual or tech sheet anywhere. I snapped the cable and am struggling to replace it.

Edit: Found thier website: https://www.forca-sports.de/sps-400/

Need to brush up on my German

(or like someone else said, wear some leather pants and drink some beer)
