separate thread really, but I have evolution as a theory, not fact.

Edit: Will watch the video posted

Read this. It might help explain it to you better.

Well evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape-like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered.

You and Jenna Manny should PM each other. Your debate is tedious and off-topic.

Jenna always pops up in the more 'controversial' threads. Must admit,  have concerns about her authenticity.

Patience, my boy. We live in a country beset by racial misunderstanding, and soon we will learn that it is all just as a result of being on different wavelengths caused by diffuse reflection, whike what we should actually do to see the problem is look in the speculum and we will all be the same.

(No, not of the pelvic kind.)

'She' is definitely a 'he'. Her profile pic is from some eyebrows make-up website and the name 'Chikky' is a bit on the nose.

I'm not sure I'm understanding you correcty- are you saying that colour depends whether the reflection is specular or diffuse?

If you are then you're wrong.

Colour depends on which wavelengths are reflected not how they're reflected.

Don't worry. I also had a wtf moment trying to make sense of her point.

Lol,

True. From what I've seen, when a woman uses another woman's pic (either a model or some celebrity) as her profile pic, they're usually middle aged and fat.

Eff off. (oh, sorry, I see you were being a chauvinist and only applying that to women.)

That is however a pretty basic article that explains quite nicely how specular reflections work.

You seem to fail at getting grasping the concept of the two different elements of reflection.

I find it amusing how you fail to understand what Inam explaining by just saying I am wrong.

Even though your last sentence agrees exactly with what I am explaining.

A material has at least two different colours ,a diffuse and a specular one.

Specular colour is normally set to pure white.

Colour is actually the product of light colour and the object or material colour.

But thank you for the low graded article.

It would be even more interesting to me if you can explain how your eye will see wavelengths of 720 nanometers and above.

Please dont discourage the people.

It's fine and I can understand where he is coming from.

Enough from me on the topic of light.

It's like earth,going in circles.

So yes I have to say that I think earth is most certainly not flat.

I wonder why Admin hasn't banned him yet. This was discussed at length before.
