Ordered from them at the beginning of May. My parcel has just arrived in SA this week, but that is mostly my fault as I chose the cheapest post office shipping option.

Yes. Depends on the item. Spares & parts - just VAT & ATV which comes to 15.4%.

 

If full bike 15% duty plus the above. Totals 32.6% extra

 

If clothing, 40% duty plus the VAT & ATV.

Check out Bike24.com too. usually better prices than Bikeinn, and from Germany. Postage is thru DHL-Post, and can be delayed by our mail sorting centre/customs "backlog"

 

With SAPOST being what it is, my bikeinn items took ages to arrive (2 weeks from NL, 4 weeks thru SA customs)

Also check out https://ciclimattio.com. Ordered a bearing tool for a Lefty hub. Came in 4 days UPS door-to-door. Cost me 10 Euro shipping and they carry some esoteric parts. Good customer service too.

 

Another good one is http://bikeonline.it. Built and shipped a set of custom wheels within 4 days! The owner is exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful. Wheels arrived 6 days later.

Some prices are better than the competition, but the service is the worst I’ve ever experienced. I have yet to receive the merchandize, very disappointed, and no longer plan to do business with this outfit.

As of 7/30/18, this issue has not been resolved and this company refuses to issue a refund.

Was tempted to order my tires, not sure I want to gamble with their delivery times (or rather our delivery options on this side)
