I'm firmly in the Scandinavian melodic death metal camp...

Actually Dismember's 'Massive Killing Capacity' album is awesome for that. I must get it out... And some Hypocrisy.. Maybe 'Rowell 47' for optimum effort!

Having had to get onto the indoor trainer due to injury, I dusted off my Zune from 2011 and am enjoying ASOT 290-350, Tiesto club life, Pete Tong etc. Makes the time pass pretty quickly.

Def Armin Van Buuren, State of Trance episodes. Mix of all music. If u want to push hard, go for that.

Free to download on his site

Yip Armin is Da Man. DJ Chuckie is another of my favorites

If I'm ever in a bind on the trainer, this is my go-to pick-me-up... Put on repeat, it'll make Stelvio look like a Red Bull Rampage (I may be overselling it a bit)

Most of this over 40 years old .

Rock the Nation - Montrose

Paint it Black - Rolling Stones

Highway Star and Fireball - Deep Purple

China Grove - Doobie Brothers

Easy Living - Uriah Heep

Smoking - Boston

We're an American Band - Grand Funk Railroad

If I convert just one youngster to one song my work will be done.

Did a lot of spinning on my orange rollers in winter on the music you mentioned.

You can add Thin Lizzy Jailbreak. Boston More than a feeling. Duran Duran Girls on Film, Locomotion Sash Equador (little later) and many more.

I still listen to them again when I am on the spinning bike after many years laying off.

It is amazing how the old habits resurface.

It's the eye of the tiger

It's the thrill of the fight

Rising up to the challenge of our rival

And the last known survivor

Stalks his prey in the night

And he's watching us all with the eye of the tiger

The sound of silence

I lie, the sound of the wind rushing past

Love this
