Cwc mentioning a sale you can write down the numbers, RRP goes up and % saved is huge on sale day.Good deals here and there but the house always win.

In an era of e-sales it is just too easy to check prices at alternative suppliers. Found some nice alternative sales outlets yesterday !! interesting era to be in sales ......

Found some nice alternative sales outlets yesterday !! interesting era to be in sales ......indeed on both fronts - saw some prices that were equal to other retailers also on sale (not a BIG birthday sale though) But it's all swings and roundabouts I guess, you win some, you lose some. In these economic times - Bike shops must be feeling the pinch as well and people are just becoming more savvy about where and how they shop.

Maybe there has been a quality decrease since I bought mine nearly two years ago, maybe I just tighten mine properly, or maybe my standards are lower? At that price, that stand is a no brainer, and I'll replace it with another like it in a heartbeat. Edit, I clamp my big bikes on the top tube, so maybe that is why I don't have the sway issue as mentioned.
