Observation, the first team to not have Geraint Thomas is sitting in 21st position. The 900 people who didn't pick him will have a pretty slim chance of winning in the end.

Elaborate here? Thomas will be working for Froome, so he is not going to feature in the top placings once we reach the mountains unless Froome pulls out and G becomes Skys main man?

Assuming Froome sticks around, Thomas is his main man, so Thomas wont be let off his leash to grab mojntain points, so I'm wondering where the vast influx of Thomas points are going to come from?

[Edit]: Not criticizing, just hoping for some insight into the line of thinking.

Froome is a good safe pick because he will score a lot of points. But while he is scoring points for you, he is also scoring points for almost 70% of Hubbers.

Thomas is an even better pick because he is racking up points this week while he holds on to the yellow jersey and only 10% of Hubbers have him. Then when the mountains come you swap him out for someone who is likely to get you more points.

Doesn't this assume, that you either picked Froome or Thomas? What if instead of Thomas, you bagged someone whos is going to score points consistently for three weeks?

I agree that Froome and Sagan are probably instapicks, but i think your assessment of Thomas might be a little rash. I would be very interested to see a final analysis at the end of three weeks and how many of the top 20 or so actually had Thomas.

[Edit]: Good point on the substitution of Thomas out though. Now the serious question, how many people picked Thomas with stage 1 in mind? I definitely didn't give him that much of a chance xD
