It was a fun race held in perfect conditions. Did well until 78km when the legs said "is it"! Was in the midst of things in EF group until the blowout and had to doctor the hammies all the way home

We had a big crash in B as well, car almost rode over the guys that fell too. 10km further another one, we couldn’t catch the group after that, will be nice to see some neutral riding after a big crash for a minute, i understand if you have 3km to go that you need to push but 30km in to race wouldn’t hurt anyone

I was in that second crash. It was a tough chase though. How far did you finish behind the main bunch?

was good to see more marshals out today.  i saw a lady that crashed near windmeul.  hope she's okay.  it looked quite serious, saw the ambulance on it's way there.

this is the second race in a row where people have crashed in corners.  not good to see.

hope those injured get well soon.

Saw her as well, blood everywhere. Plenty of help around her which was good. Saw her again at the finish line waiting for somebody else, she had a heavy bandage around her knee but I think she's ok

Lovely day out. Tough as hell (GPX would have been handy) but I loved it. Durbie Dash lived up to it's reputation.

Thanks to all involved for making this possible.

Took about 20 minutes for ER to pass me to get to Stricker whose front skewer came loose a minute before I came to a halt with a rear flat.

Mini Savage did OKish.

He came in at 2h40 with mostly the GH bunch. He says he felt very strong at the end, but pap in the first 40km. He got dropped out of the D bunch after 30km. I think it is the 5 hours sleep he got. We left Strand at 4h30 after a 3h30 wake-up call.

At least he did beat his main rival for the second time in a row. This guy beat him in all the Spur School MTB races. Now it is payback time.
