Do a tubeless conversion with stans.

Do not use CO2 except if you are under sserious pressure for what ever reason.

When not riding spin your wheels once a week.

Do you think its brand specific? or in general? the reason I ask is, the problem may be with the sealant more than the application?

To be honest, I am not sure. But I think it is a fundamental issue with putting slime inside tubes, I am sure some will be better than others.

I have always been told/taught that slime tubes are purely temporary backups (get me home type things) for tubeless tyres.

Have never seen a Grinch droll form inside one though.

The issue here is the matter of the sealant congealing, I would assume that the reason would be the same regardless if you are using the sealant in a tube or in a tubeless setup.

And secondly it would be the first time ever in Hub history that someone does not know the answer to the question at hand .... or at least profess to know the answer. (insert sarcasm font here)

Alrighty then...

Note the comic sans font used in my post. You should know it's meaning by now since you are so active on this forum..

Are you suffering a temporary or permanent sense of humour failure on this Monday?

Again, note the font!

edit - spelling, to cater for the grammar Nazi's among us.

Is it those Dr Sludge tubes?

From my experience (I used to have them on my commuter bike), they tend to coagulate without being exposed to CO2 inflation.

I've had issues on tubes that had never been inflated with via CO2.

mmm comic sans font... cant say I have seen it being used here much effectively... generally we just let people jump to conclusions here. but now that you have spelt it out for me, I understand that your post was in jest. I do however appreciate the spelling correction

Slime tubes are a waste of time IMHO. If you get a foreign object in your tyre the movement between tyre and tube will allow leakage, and the slime tends to mean that patches don't stick once there's a hole.

Tubeless or patch kits.
