I saw a youngster on a green and orange Dogma (I think) as well as a Tandem go down. I was about 20 metres back when it happened - surprised it didn't cause a major pile up! Hope the ambulance was precautionary and there was nothing more than some road rash!

I saw the youngster on the Pina afterward at the finish. Apart from some road rash, he looked ok. Nothing serious.

Just wondering if anyone knows who was involved in that Group C-E crash going passed Boschendal? Really nasty fall and I hope all involved are okay.

Happened a couple bikes behind me, so only heard the carnage, but I'm told somebody was having a chow and lost his handlebar going over a cat-eye.

Speaking of that group - What's up with going up Hels like we're on a chilled Sunday group ride?? :whistling: :whistling:

He had three minutes with 15km to go, we did not think we would catch them by then. We showed great restraint, only chasing it down with 15km to go :D

Thats why we write the blogs :P

Chapeau to PPA for a really lekker day out!  Perfect weather, well organised, good spirit in the groups on the road too.

There was some confusion at the start and half of our group (F-G) went along with the C-E group. We tried hard to catch, but to no avail.  Our group worked really well together and only splintered at the end.  Big shifts put in at the front of our group, so well done gents and ladies

if I understood it correctly as per above post from PS, then yes ...again but I'm gonna give them Benefit of the doubt & wait the race report. But at West Coast Express I had front row seats (back) to see for myself how they had the numbers yet didn't use it to their advantage.

That was such a mess, when half the group accidentally launched with the group in front somebody shouted "there goes our engine room!"

I was still stiff and sore from the previous day's ride, but managed to find my legs in the second half of the race and took some pulls at the front.  Really enjoyed the ride!
