Watch Mr. Peak 365 sprint on the final section to try become Movistar's new team leader ahead of Landa

Ja it suits him. If the fast guys aren't in the right position coming into the last km when road turns he will pounce.. but he will have Nibali hot on his heels.

I love the way he switches Demare then throws a hissy fit when exactly the same thing happens to him.

I feel for the guy. Accidents and poor TdF prep have left him well below par. I think some frustration is setting in...

I was actualy wondering if he has lost his nerve...

Age / experience and kids can have that affect on you

Let’s face it, like him or not he has had fair share of wins and horrible accidents

Can well understand if he is not as “crazy” as before

As for the moaning... ja well he is a football fan after all

I don't think Movistar even know where they stand in regards to the leader;  here's a quote from yesterday:

Arrieta (Movistar): "Quintana is our only leader"
15:32

Movistar’s sport director José Luis Arrieta spoke to letour.fr this morning: “Another race will start for us after the cobblestones stage on Sunday. But we don’t have three leaders. We have only one leader: it’s Nairo Quintana because of his past at the Tour de France.”

Saw this too and had a quiet chuckle... If he's actually watched Nairo Quintana on previous Tours, he's know full-well that Nairo's a follower, not a leader...

I have a feeling that once the mountains come, Jose is going to flip flop harder than Fikile Mbalula, when Nairo gets shot out the back faster than an urgent Dumoulin poo.
