Close to Belgium and Germany. For places to cycle, Vankenburg is only 30km away. It hosts the finish to Amstelgold, on top of the Cauberg, a short steep hill, not really a berg. This region is known as the Dutch Alps, it has lots of rolling hills (unlike the rest of the country. Cycling is BIG over there, everybody has a bike, lots and lots of bike paths, the way motorists behave towards cyclists is a revelation. PS nobody over there wears helmets.Christie2008-05-28 05:44:43 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
