shaper Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 Any Ant+ HRM will work, check the cliassfieds, the wahoo Tickr will do both ANT+ and BLE, so gives you options.
Spirog Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 Ticker will future proof you because at some stage your going to want to talk to a device that has Bluetooth. Ant+ is slowly being replaced by the much more widely used Bluetooth. So, a device that offers both options makes sense.
DirtyFrank Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 No contest, Polar H10 or even H7( discontinued) , Quality and compatible with android and ios phones, if you are on Vitality you can use with Polar Beat / flow app/ Strava/ etc. works flawlessly and battery last ages and is simple and cheap to replace. I investigated the smartphone HRM watches etc and cannot justify them as i always carry my phone with me anyway so app and HRM strap is simple and the best and most cost effective solution. Most of us ride with our phones from a safety point of view anyway.It will cost you between R1000 and R 1250 for the strap. app is free.
